What's inside Level One, Month 1

Lessons 1–4 introduce the foundational skills your child needs to begin decoding. Each lesson is built around the Orton-Gillingham approach — a structured, sequential, multisensory method that uses sight, hearing, touch, and movement to reinforce learning.

Lesson 1 — Phonemic awareness

Hearing and isolating individual sounds in words. The starting block for every reader.

Lesson 2 — Letter sounds

Connecting sounds to written letters using multisensory cues.

Lesson 3 — Blending

Sliding sounds together to read whole words for the first time.

Lesson 4 — Reading and reviewing

Putting it all together with short decodable text and review activities.
